Projects
Explore our innovative golf engineering projects that combine cutting-edge technology with practical applications for improving golf performance.
Current Projects (2025-2026)
Software Development
Our software team is collaborating with Sportsbox AI to collect data and develop short-game (putting) analysis software that will advance golf teaching technology. We're working on real-time motion analysis algorithms, machine learning models for stroke classification, and user interface design for coaching applications. Future plans include expanding our AI capabilities to cover full-swing analysis and developing mobile applications for real-time coaching feedback.
Putter Design & Manufacturing
Thanks to generous material donations from TaylorMade Golf, we're beginning the design process this year with the goal of milling custom putters before Spring 2026 for UW's Division I golf season. Our team is working on CAD modeling, material selection, and precision manufacturing techniques. Our long-term vision includes developing a complete line of custom golf equipment and establishing partnerships with professional golfers for product testing and refinement.
Division I Partnership
We've established contact with UW's Golf Team head coach and will discuss potential partnerships and projects in late October 2025. This collaboration will provide valuable real-world testing opportunities for our equipment and software developments. Future collaborations will focus on performance optimization, equipment testing, and developing training technologies specifically tailored for competitive golf at the collegiate level.
